It’s not a fairytale!
India is not and neither is the movie The White Tiger currently showing on Netflix, starring Bollywood turned Hollywood queen, Priyanka Chopra.
Miss Chopra is in a supporting role and so if you’ve lined the movie on your “List” because of her, you might be disappointed or like me, quite pleasantly surprised when you meet the hero (or villain) of TWT.
Prepare to be educated, enthralled and captivated from start to end because the storyline is good and the scenes give you a real good look at India.
A look at what it means to be poor and the near impossibility of bettering one self. But Balram does it and his rags to riches story is entertaining, enriching and educational.
I give the movie five stars!
